Statement from John Taylor-Bowles Regarding NSM Split

"Fellow National Socialists:

For 60 days now a battle has been waged behind the NSM scenes between the NSM Commander and a lot of NSM rank and file because of his web team consisting of Mike Connelly, Cathy Griggs, and John Schafer. The NSM Commander has given them free authority to do as they please in the Forums and New Saxon without ever disciplining them. For six months, I have received steady requests by NSM members and friends of the NSM to do something about the web team because of their tyrannical and unjust ways of banning people and cussing at people. Recently, I discovered a secret room in the Forums where they regularly meet and post messages about NSM members behind their backs and the NSM Commander participates and allows it. This is bad character on the part of them all and the reason the NSM Commander expelled me and came up with that lie of me and others being defeatist. Is defeatism running as the first National Socialist for President in the USA, 24/7, and giving up a $50,000 a year job to do so? Is defeatism being a National Socialist for over 33 years? Is defeatism running the first NSM candidate for office last year in Montana and obtaining 17.5% of the vote which is astounding?

Go ask Jeff Schoep what happened to that NSM Scholarship fund that NSM members generously donated into? He will tell you it’s (his puppet master John Schafer will back him up and lie for him)still there. It isn’t! NSM Commander told Nick Chappell at the Omaha Rally it was used to move the Commander and his family. If you don’t believe it, have you seen it issued to any high school student yet? Not.

Also, the NSM Commander has barely made any effort to push the 2008 Presidential election campaign. When people were making a fuss about his lack of enthusiasm about it he would occasionally take up a collection once in awhile (like the book burning and National Meeting). I accuse him of deliberately sabotaging it. He is a saboteur. His lack of effort along with the web team chasing potential contributors away destroyed the Presidential campaign.

Also, the NSM Commander called the former NSM Viking Youth Corps Director a defeatist too. Does a defeatist take his inheritance and buy a building so the NSM could regularly meet there and be safe?

Within the last week, the NSM Commander along with his web team and himself have lost the NW Regional Leader, NSM Viking Youth Corps Director, NSM Election Director, Meeting Hall in SC, and its 2008 Presidential candidate, plus so many members it would make your head spin. Notice he doesn’t mention the number of NSM members that wrote him back about his e-mail about loyalty and oath that resigned. I showed that e-mail to genuine German National Socialists from the 1930’s-1940’s and they laughed at it explaining that he was wrong and isn’t a National Socialist. They thought a Marxist wrote it at first. They explained that the message conveys that NSM members are suppose to have strict and faithful loyalty to their leader without question. They point out that this isn’t National Socialist thinking from the NSDAP because a leader is suppose to have responsibility of making proper decisions downward. Responsibility comes with leadership and making decisions. The former NSDAP leaders explained that Schoeps interpretation was Marxist thinking or tyrannical thinking because the message insisted that everyone must be loyal and faithful with nothing in return from the leadership. Go back and read it yourself and you will see.

Captain, Commander, Criminal

Based in Minnesota, the National Socialist Movement — which claims to be the nation's largest neo-Nazi organization, though it has only about 200 members (now estimated to be lower than 25 nationally) — says members should be gainfully employed and positively contributing to society.

But as reporter Jon Tevlin discovered, the 30-year-old Schoep hardly fits that description himself, with a string of petty crimes on his record, including a felony arrest in 1998 for aiding and abetting a burglary.

According to court records, Schoep — who was unemployed at the time, and apparently still is — was arrested for accompanying the mother of his daughter when she stole $4,000 worth of computer equipment. Four children were in the back seat of the car during the burglary.

Schoep, who had become NSM commander four years before the incident, pleaded guilty and got off with probation — but not before District Judge Sharon Hall took him to task for gross hypocrisy.

The NSM, she pointed out, "does not condone fathering children around the countryside and taking no financial responsibility. And it does not condone the commission of crimes. I also know that your organization believes that there are various minority groups in this country that do that on a regular basis."

Schoep told the Star Tribune his crimes were "in the past," and claimed to be "taking care of my children." In the NSM, he insisted, "We stress legality and we're against people breaking the law" — though a registered sex offender, John Snyder, leads the Indiana chapter of the NSM, which puts a special emphasis on recruiting teenagers.

Apparently his views have continued although he makes no mention of them when bullying from his pulpit. Interview notes have been made public from academic sources, directed to this website.

"... look, I don't like where this is going. I don't want to give out personal information... um... you know because the Jews have threatened my kids and they threaten me too. So um.. yeah you can't continue asking those questions because we believe in the safety of all white people."

A strange assertion to make, considering the first tactic when the owner of Nuke Israel went away the website was stolen, and the owner's identity, previously kept private from whois searches was made public on the blog. Such are the tactics of cowards who cannot combat the ideas on their own and subsequently invite the attack on members who decide to depart the movement. The oath, if you recall is not to the party specifically, but to the betterment of white people everywhere. The NSM seems to have abjectly failed in that regard.

"... I think that all citizens should be allowed to have housing without interest and given government um... support and stuff. I mean, white people are having difficulty making ends meet working to make the bills. People can't ahhh ... well you know.. we're dying because our race can't make it while the minorities get free handouts."

I have to apologize and admit that I'm repeating a phrase; what a strange assertion. Schoep works no job, has his records website worked from volunteers (namely John Shafer who owns his own server firm he runs out of his home) but it should surprise no one that he's in favor of more government handouts, after all he still has to pay his own electric and utility bills! It's a strange concept, while most of the party works for a living he mooches off the good will of his members.

Even the Presidential Candidate was called "defeatist" for asking for some party support when running his campaign which he had done as purely volunteer, even some reimbursement for minor expenses such as gasoline to travel on his 15 city tour. A campaign worker revealed in a radio interview "We have received $100 from the party, and only when Schoep was looking really bad." (Link Here)
